Wednesday 22th July 2009: TESCO TAKES 70,000 SQ.FT AT WORKSOP, NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
Tesco has completed a sale agreement with Henry Boot Developments Limited to take 70,000 sq.ft of new retail space in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
Construction work is due to begin later this year and the new store is expected to be open for trade during 2010.
Representing Henry Boot Developments, Vivienne Clements, Director, commented: “All parties have worked really hard to achieve this positive outcome for Bassetlaw District Council and the town of Worksop. The sale will provide significant funding opportunities for the Council and enable them to bring forward their long term objectives for the area.”
Henry Boot Developments are continuing to progress the associated 50,000 sq.ft leisure scheme, which includes a five screen cinema and family style restaurants.
