PLANNING CONSENT GRANTED FOR 'WESTFIELD ONE', A NEW
83,000 SQ.FT INDUSTRIAL SCHEME IN CUMBERNAULD
Henry Boot Developments Limited has received detailed planning permission to commence development of its 'Westfield One' industrial scheme in Westfield, Cumbernauld.

North Lanarkshire Council granted consent for 83,000 sq.ft of light industrial/ distribution accommodation.  Buildings on the site can range in size from 10,000–28,000 sq.ft, with the potential for subdivision.

Westfield is an established industrial area and well placed to access Central Scotland's motorway network.  The location will be further strengthened by the upgrade works which will see the A80 improved to motorway standard. 

In addition to plot sales, design and build opportunities are also available, as well as industrial buildings on a purchase or leasehold basis.  Costed proposals will be provided to interested parties, subject to receiving a specification for the required building. 

Iain Wallace, Development Surveyor with Henry Boot Developments Limited, commented: “Given the current economic climate, the focus of our disposal strategy will be to package up flexible plots, which can be sold on a serviced or un-serviced basis to occupiers looking to build their own accommodation.”
