
It is proposed that the scheme will include 104,000 sq ft of industrial, warehouse and workshop premises, 42,000 sq ft of offices and 40,000 sq ft of bulky goods retail, complete with car parking.
The development will be designed to complement the existing town facilities and to encourage the local public to shop in the town rather than travel to nearby centres such as York and Scarborough. It will be sensitively designed in keeping with the rural setting of this pleasant market town, with the incorporation of significant quality landscaping.
